We meet at Loudoun Hall in Ayr (Map opposite) every Thursday between September and March with the evenings activities starting at 19:30 and ending some time between 21:30 and 22:00.
During the summer months when there is no meetings, a group of us meet “on location” for a hands-on night of photography organised each week by Anne Gardiner. These evenings are well worth attending as many of the photographs you can see in our gallery from competitions were shot during these outings. It also means there’s help and advice on hand for all types of photography.
On top of all this we have also begun holding occasional Monday evening tutorial nights on a vast range of subjects from photoshop to studio work. These additional evenings are announced both well in advance on the regular Thursday night meetings and via our e-newsletter which is sent out to all members.
Prospective members are welcome to join us for 2 evenings of their choice free of charge before making the decision on whether to become a member of not.
Members are also more than welcome to make use of the clubs
Olympus Digital S.L.R. Camera,
Card Reader and
PC Laptop

Our membership consists of enthusiastic photographers who are always happy to welcome a new face to our ever-growing membership.
We meet in order to enjoy the company of other like-minded individuals whilst competing in a friendly atmosphere and above all to improve our knowledge of our art.
No matter what your problem, someone at A.P.S will be able to help you.
